I graduated from Seattle Pacific University in June 2026 with a double major in Interior Design and Interior Design Merchandising. As a designer, I am captivated by how spaces shape emotion and believe in the quiet power of subtle choices that evoke warmth, safety, and belonging. My guiding philosophy is to create sustainable, adaptable environments that support people. Art and beauty punctuated the soul of a home, lifting the spirit of those who dwelled within. Rooted in an understanding of how design can restore and steady its inhabitants, my approach centeres on the client’s essence and well-being while integrating environmentally responsible practices that fostered connection and care for our planet.

Supportive, Genuine, Adaptable
My guiding design philosophy is to create sustainable, adaptable residential environments that support people. Art and beauty provide punctuation to the soul of a home and lift the spirit of those who dwell within. Rooted in an understanding of how deeply a well-designed environment can restore and steady its inhabitants, my approach centers on the client’s true essence and well-being.
Projects
For this project, I was tasked with designing a luxury condominium for a couple, Avanni and Madden Donohue, their mother-in-law, and their cat. The Donohue family provided a list of specific requirements along with a few inspirational images. A key aspect of the design was to thoughtfully incorporate elements of their Indian heritage and artwork. Working within these parameters, I developed a complete set of construction documents, digital presentation boards, a specification book, and 3D renderings.

This collaborative project was completed with two classmates and centered on Universal Design as a guiding approach for creating environments that support people of all ages, sizes, and abilities. Together, we examined how individuals interact with the built environment and how thoughtful design choices can reduce barriers and promote independence. Our team applied core Universal Design principles while exploring construction strategies commonly used in home modifications for people with disabilities and aging adults. The final outcome reflects our shared commitment to accessible, adaptable, and human-centered design that prioritizes dignity, comfort, and long-term sustainabilityÂ

This international commercial design project strengthened my advanced skills in CAD drafting, space planning, and visual presentation while guiding me through a full concept-to-presentation process. Designing for my clients, Dr. Joshua and Miriama Safdie and Vida and Amado Levine, an Orthodox Jewish family, required thoughtful cultural research and careful consideration of spatial needs, circulation patterns, and functional requirements. I integrated the elements and principles of design with Universal Design strategies, addressed fire and life safety standards, and incorporated sustainability guidelines throughout the project. The final deliverables included a complete set of architectural drawings and presentation materials that communicate a cohesive, culturally informed, and professionally executed commercial design.

This course introduced the fundamentals of space planning and interior systems with a strong focus on lighting design for both residential and commercial environments. I learned how different light sources, systems, and techniques shape function and atmosphere, while also gaining familiarity with electrical terminology, codes, sustainability considerations, and the full design process.

Pleasing is a unisex beauty and lifestyle brand known for its vibrant packaging and meaningful nonprofit partnerships. Drawing from its playful identity, I incorporated bold geometric forms and created a dedicated area to highlight the brand’s community initiatives. Set within an existing building shell in South Lake Union, the project challenged us to balance creativity with real‑world constraints.
The retail space functions as an immersive walk‑through experience where guests explore products before purchasing. Visitors move through vibrant displays of nail polishes and curated apparel, ending at a lounge‑style cash wrap where orders are placed with an associate. Inspired by Glossier and IKEA, this model lets customers enjoy the tactile and visual aspects of the merchandise without carrying items as they shop. Associates retrieve selections from the back, creating a seamless, engaging, and brand‑aligned experience.
